Hi,
Does anyone has by any chance a database of Drupal taxonomy that is similar to Yahoo! or to a UDC (Universal Decimal Classification)?
I realise that if someone has done this already, it will save me a lot of work.
I can just upload this Drupal classification tables to my web site.
Thanks,
Sergio

Arggh. This is what always annoyed me about drupal. That users ask questions like this, and no one ever responds--after months!. These are features that many look for in almost every CMS out there because people who build sites want things that people who write software dont think about much. Anyway... I really do love much of Drupal. I would like to start working with it, but I really have some "directory issues" too:

I have two needs:
1) a typlical yahoo drill-down style directory (for links at least.. but preferably AND type of node. Is there ANY existing module or core that can do this?
(Well. i just found the Weblinks module. Don't know how I missed that. Never mind on this one. )

2) a DHTL tree on a static page for organizing outlines of common stuff.
I would also like a collapsive tree of check boxes for search and node type filters instead of input/select lists. Has this been done? If I was to write it, how would i componetize it. I just don't understand the drupal system well enough to know where to begin. Pointers to approach would be greatly appreciated

Whoever did the personCSS theme had the right idea for this, but it does not seem to be running in 4.5 yet, and I don't grasp theme system well enough to tinker with it.

Arggh. This is what always annoyed me about drupal users who don't browse (see 'Resource Directories') / search drupal.org before posting responses like this.

And no one ever responds--after seconds!
