Hi there, i will provide links to better understand my issue. Firstly I created an RSS feed, i want this feed to dominate my main page as you can view at the following link

http://helpvid.net/pets/aggregator/

Now I had to click an additional button "More" that appears bellow my feed to get to that page.

The feed itself i have placed in a block, that is housed in the content area, mas you will see at the following link it just appears as a bunch of links with no title and teaser like the first link provided.

http://helpvid.net/pets/

I tried to redirect http://helpvid.net/pets/ to http://helpvid.net/pets/aggregator/ and i have experience doing this sort of thing via a .htaccess folder with a written rule to manipulate the server and to do a redirect, but in Drupal this tactic does not work.

I have downloaded the Keyredirect and Services module but dont seem to be getting anywhere, any help would be greatly appreciated. In short im just trying to do a simple redirect from one link to another so my home page appears the way i want it to....

That is built into Drupal. Visit Home › Administer › Site configuration › Site information, scroll down to 'Default front page'. In your case replace 'node' with 'aggregator'.
