Hello everyone in drupal-land,

I am pretty new to drupal, but from everything i've read it's the best open source CMS, and I'm determined to use it for a site I am creating.

My question is this: is there a way to customize the user profile screen? I want to pull user-specific data from the database and create line charts from it. I've tried googling but I can't seem to come up with anything.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows of a module or built-in feature that would allow super-simple direct data entry into the database for all users (so users can data data to custom personal and public tables in the database).

Any help/code/hints/links would be very appreciated! I'm just wanting to know if any of this already exists in drupal, so I don't reinvent the wheel.
