when creating a page the authorized users can ad them to a menu-topic (parent item).
to avoid confusion i just want to remove the option to ad the node to the "navigation"-menu - all others
i want to keep as option.
is there a way to only lock/protect the navigation-menu to add new childs by authorized users?

In my case, another possibility would be to have the drop menu default to a custom navigation instead of the "admin" navigation.

Anybody on either scenarios?
