I enabled the webform module and made sure WebForm was checked as a node type in the Webform-enabled content types: but when I go to create a new webform, I do not see any of the settings that others seem to get. I see everything that a normal node input form would see. No confirmation email section, no conditional email settings...nada

Any help?

I can only add that this drupal install is not in the root, but another subdirectory (subdomain?) and otherwise works flawlessly. maybe there is something to that?

Save the node. All webform settings have moved to a dedicated "Webform" tab.

Ouch. Maybe this could be added to the README, because the tab isn't mentioned in the readme:

4. Create a webform node at node/add/webform.

or in the docs:

You will now have a new node type called "Webform". From there you simply give the webform a title, description, confirmation message, set up email settings and the like.

and at least one of the YouTubes floating about has all the action taking place before the Save. I thought I'd clobbered the fields. Thanks!
