First of all - Homebox is awesome. I'm totally looking forward to use it in my Intranet :)

However, here a little problem I encountered:

I use "Panels > Node template" to overwrite my group start pages.

Simply activating the Homebox OG module disables this "Node template" without any alert, although no further settings have been made yet (like setting an actual Homebox for the group). It caused my group start pages to "degrade" to the standard view and it took me a little while to find the problem. If this disabling is by design, then maybe add a line to the Readme file to caution Panels users - might spare them the bug hunt.

You're right - good call. Fixed + committed.

You're fine unless you specify a homebox to act as a group homepage. You can use group tabs without a problem. This is because both modules override node/%nid in the menu to do what we want. And both modules can't have their way..
