Hello;

I've Googled away an afternoon looking at how to do this and I am finally asking for help.

I am trying to create an iCal feed of events that have a custom CCK date field.
Whenever I try to use the built in Calendar View, it defaults to the Node Update field, which is the date and time that the node was updated.
The iCal works but only displays the nodes that were updated that same day.
Whenever I try to change this date to my CCK date field I run into problems with mostly blank iCal files.

Is there some sort of documentation out there or method I should be following? Is there another module that does this?

Please help!

-Ryan

I have the same problem.
It tells me, that I need an argument for a date field, although I have an argument for a CCK datetime field.

Any help woul be appreciated.

Have you also changed the "filter". You will need to go to the "iCal Feed" display and modify the settings of the second filter item so that it doesn't filter by "updated date" and instead filters by your CCK date. I just had this problem yesterday and believe you are having the same problem.
