TinyMCE editor, SpellCheck, won't correct misspelled words

I have set up Drupal with the TinyMCE module and installed the spell checking with TinyMCE. Everything works until I shall correct a misspelled word. The spellchecker finds a misspelled word, and when i left-click the word I get a menu with options to correct it, so far so good. Then when i choose a correct alternative for the misspelled word, the menu disappears but nothing changes, the misspelled word still is the same!?!

Any suggestion what could be wrong, or where to look for more info??

right from the creators of MCE comes the ability to use the google spell checker which does it through ajax. I highly reccomend this one over the one in the package. Very easy to install as a plugin in TinyMCE and you can shut iespell off.

TinyMCE Spellchecker PHP v1.0.2 (Google XML service)

I guess that is just the setup you mean. As I said earlier, everything works fine until the correction of a misspelled word.

I see it now and can confirm the bug. The best place for the bug report may be on moxie codes site, it seems to be a problem with the spell checker plugin itself and not with the drupal tinymce module.
