Hi,
At http://www.groenerekenkamer.com/node/1127 I have made a short test-quiz . My problem is after the first question is answered, the second question appears below it. This is an awfull sight.
I have checked the video demo on your site and it shows that a new quiz question ought to be displayed on a fresh screen. I have searched everywhere, but i cannot find a setting to change. is it normal that the page retains its already answered questions?
Thanks

djdevinHi - it looks like you have "show feedback after each question" enabled on the quiz.

TheoRichel CreditAttribution: TheoRichel commentedThanks. You are right, I have the 'show feedback after each question" enabled, and I have switched it off and seen the difference. But I do not understand the reason. I want the answers to appear after each question AND I want each question to appear on a fresh screen. Is this a deliberate choice?

TheoRichel CreditAttribution: TheoRichel commentedCould someone please telle me whether this is a known problem and whether I can do something about it or wther someone else is doing that?

falcon CreditAttribution: falcon commentedTurn of the ajax_quiz/quiz_ajax module. That module isn't finished...
TheoRichel CreditAttribution: TheoRichel commentedI did not install that module

TheoRichel CreditAttribution: TheoRichel commentedI have reopened this because I do not understand why it was closed. It is certainly not fixed. It is apparently impossible to have feedback after each question. If that option is selected it shows a strange page as described above. So it is a dysfunctional option. That is what this thread is for isnt it?

TheoRichel CreditAttribution: TheoRichel commentedThis was not a support request, it is in error in the module.

falcon CreditAttribution: falcon commentedAh, I didn't read the issue careful enough. This is not a bug, the "show feedback after each question" option just doesn't work very well. I recommend that you try to theme it to look better(or disable it). I'm pretty sure the feature works the way it is supposed to.
I mark this issue as a task for Quiz 5. We will make this feature more sensible for the next version of quiz.
I'm sorry we couldn't be of more help. If someone creates a patch for this issue I'll consider it for Quiz 4 as well.
(It probably doesn't make much sense that we have a feature in Q4 that some of us are not very happy about, but it is created by the community after requests from the community, and I know several sites uses it)
Your link above didn't work. If you're sure that this is a bug, and not just a feature that doesn't work as good as it should please provide a screen-shot and we'll see what we can do. Anyway it will be improved in the next version of quiz.

tsaks CreditAttribution: tsaks commentedI'm using Quiz version 6.x-4.0-rc9 and I have the same usability requirement/request...
Currently, if Feedback is turned on, the Question Results are shown along with the
Feedback and the next question on the same page, with the next question appearing
below the Question Results/Feedback for the previous question...
Is there any option to have the next Question on a seperate page?

GaëlGI face the same need. I'll have a look at this problem.

GaëlGHere's what I did. It was not easy.

penyaskitoI have rerolled with a proper git repo from 7.x-4.x (I couldn't apply the patch in #11).
penyaskitoThere was a bug if you wanted to repeat a question until correct. The attached patch fixes that.

jhedstromRe-rolled #13 so it applies. I also needed to define the new constants at the top.
I am currently working on adding an additional option of 'immediate', meaning feedback would be provided inline via jquery. This seems like an appropriate place to add such functionality.
jhedstromAdding jquery feedback will require a separate issue I think. See #2231031: Add new jquery/immediate feedback option.

djdevinThis issue is being closed because it was filed against a version that is no longer supported. If the issue still persists in the latest version of Quiz, please open a new issue.
