For those interested I started a new project Clientside validation that automatically adds clientside validation to all webforms, it's currently still a bit rough but I'm using it allready.

Thanks attiks. Once it's polished nicely let me know and I'll try it out. If it looks like it'd be useful to a lot of users I can add it to the Webform project page.
