I'm sure I'm just being a bit daft because it's late and I'm tired. But for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get anything more than the Node custom breadcrumb types. I don't have Views or Panels installed, so that's obviously not going to work. But I can't get Taxonomy to work either. Is there some kind of magic sauce that I need to apply? Or is this related to the missing config screen in #857952: I can't find the settings page in D7?
Thanks!

MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedYou can't at the moment because the 7.x-1.x branch is a port of the 6.x-1.x branch - which doesn't do taxonomy breadcrumbs. I haven't had the time to try to start porting the 6.x-2.x branch to D7. I doubt it will happen before a stable 6.x-2.0 release anyway.
Marking this as postponed until the 6.x-2.0 stable release.

jcarlson34 CreditAttribution: jcarlson34 commentedHi MGN, was trolling the boards and cleaning up threads a bit.
Was wondering if this issue is now fixed, since taxonomy breadcrumbs are visible and available now within the 7.x version of custom breadcrumbs.

Thanks.

jcarlson34 CreditAttribution: jcarlson34 commentedHi v.zhakov, my apologies in need to read these threads better, I meant "since taxonomy tokens are visible and available now". You are correct, the feature, taxonomy breadcrumbs, isn't available yet.

MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedTaxonomy-based breadcrumbs are not a feature in either the 6.x-1.x or 7.x-1.x branches of custom breadcrumbs. They might be available when 6.x-2.0 is ported to 7.x-2.x, but that effort hasn't begun yet. I believe it is true that taxonomy tokens are available and it should be possible to use these in creating node-type breadcrumbs in D7, but I haven't tried this yet.

MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedWorking on it. I am still coming up to speed on the changes to the various apis and 6.x-2.x is much more involved than 6.x-1.x (which was fairly easy to port to 7.x-1.x). Actually need to port about 7 modules to complete the package, but I'll do custom_breadcrumbs and custom_breadcrumbs_taxonomy first and then add the others as time permits.

I appreciate your work and will test the module after your first dev :)

Yuri CreditAttribution: Yuri commentedI was wondering if there is a workaround for the time being, to use the tokens available, such as the menu link tokens. When an available menu reflects the taxonomy structure (like in taxonomy menu), then the custom breadcrumbs could be set up as those menu link tokens. I tried it, but could not get this working, but i might do it wrong.
If anyone has custom breadcrumbs for D7 working for terms, or succeeds with the method mentioned above, let me know.
Thanks

juves CreditAttribution: juves commentedIs there a roadmap for porting 6.2 to D7?
I use t() to translate non-token labels, it's wrong, but what should I do :D

MGN CreditAttribution: MGN commentedI've created a (partial) 7.x-2.x port of the 6.x-2.x custom breadcrumbs modules. Currently the base custom breadcrumbs module has been ported, along with custom_breadcrumbs_paths and custom_breadcrumbs_taxonomy. The remaining 6.x-2.x modules are in progress. I haven't had much of a chance to test the 7.x-2.x version, so use at your own risk until its been properly tested.
Closing this issue since the feature is now available. If you test the 7.x-2.x version and find mistakes, please open new issues.
