Hi! I've installed and configured the custom_breadcrumbs_paths module. It works perfectly using the path alias, but it doesn't work if you use the path in the "node/NID" form.

If the alias change, you will have to modify the custom breadcrumb settings. Instead, allowing the "node/NID" form, you don't have to care about changes to the alias.

What do you think about?

This is by design. You can use node/nid as a path and the appropriate custom_breadcrumbs_paths breadcrumb will be used when the node is accessed by this path. It will not be used when the same page is accessed via a path alias, because its a different path.

This is a feature in that it allows customization of the breadcrumb according to the path followed. I don't see how I can change it without eliminating this feature.

Marked #872606: Path detection won't work on aliases as a duplicate. It would be possible to include an extra field on the custom breadcrumbs paths create breadcrumb form that allows for this option, so I'll move the status from won't fix to active to include this as a feature request.

Thanks MGN: I've understood comment #1 and I like the idea to add the new feature.

+1 It would be great to have that feature.
