Taxonomy and Feed trouble

I have been setting up many categories and feeds which in turn, are loaded into blocks for those feeds. This is for a movie theatre with many special events, which are to be loaded into separate feed blocks, (now playing, coming soon, midnite movies, etc...)

All works fine except for two things,
All content categorized as a midnite movie shows up in the proper Midnite block, but also another block called Events, though they are separate terms and there is no parent/child releationship. Could it be because they were originally categorized as events? I updated the feed and many cron jobs have run, but still no luck.

Two, I have one term which has five or six children. I can aggregate the children fine individually, but calling the parent term says "no posts in this category." I want to feed ALL of the child items into one block, and also have a page that displays all child content. I can show them all on a page with a url like taxonomy/term/n+n+n+n (n being term numbers), but that gives me a page title that also has ALL of the term names (termname, termname, termname,) which is not attractive.
