The views gallery module page states that :
If the Views Slideshow module (version 6.2) is enabled, a Views Slideshow block is added to the default view.
However, despite having views slideshow module version 6.2.2 enabled I cannot find any Views Slideshow block. Where does it exist. Do I need to do someting additional to add it. What are the uses of this block. It may be very helpful to put a slideshow of 10 most recent photos on the front page.

KarenS CreditAttribution: KarenS commentedYou should see it in the View, a list of all the displays, one of which is the Views Slideshow block. If you don't see it, see if your view is showing up as overridden. If it is, revert it.
