Hello,

Working on using Drupal, and have setup the story module and it seems to work quite nicely. One thing we require however is the ability to add links at the bottom of a story which are relevant links.

These relevant links could be other stories within drupal (so other nodes) or an external link such as http://www.google.com.

These relevant links would be defined by an administrator when creating new content. The ability to add links needs to be in a friendly manner, so say a drop down of other stories / a text entry box for a url.

I have looked around for a module that allows this ability but none seem to offer this functionality. If anyone can offer any insight into this that would be great, perhaps there is something obvious I have missed.

My newspaper's website uses a taxonomy-based publishing system (not Drupal) which allows us to relate stories based on a taxonomy.

It seems that if you build a very structured, multi-level taxonomy, you should be able to relate stories that share a taxonomy.

I personally haven't taken it that far, but probably should.

Try the links package it willadd a module related links, it doesexactly what you need I think.

We are using Drupal 4.6 tree and this Links Package talks about being for 4.7.
However saying that there are some talk of using it with 4.6

Any ideas if you can get it working? it doesnt appear to have installed the database tables or anything, I will keep investigating to see if i can get this to trigger, but if anyone has any advice that would be great.
