I am working in 6.17 drupal with a pretty fresh install that seems otherwise to be functioning. When I use Image Assist with https (through WYSIWYG and TinyMCE) the popup window comes up totally blank. I am not a coder and don't know what the issue may be. When I set the edit pages to just be regular http and not https all seems fine again. May be some kind of bug... not that important, but since the Secure Pages module is set to do https when editing it will basically cause Image Assist to break (at least in my experience).

goins.29 CreditAttribution: goins.29 commentedAdding "img_assist/*" to my Secure Pages configuration fixed it for me. I haven't spent too much thinking about it, but I'm not really sure why the edit page and image assist pop up have to either be both http or both https. Either way, if you want to keep your edit pages secure, this did the trick for me.

webengr CreditAttribution: webengr commentedI do appreciate this post I googled. Answered my problem.
Perhaps the fix is to ask both image assist and secure pages to make a note in their module's README.txt
