Is it worth using this or having the user validate their email. [#821532]

Any reviews on how well this module works? Is it worth having the user validate their email address through the core module or does this, most of the time, prove that the user's email address is legitimate?

Its pretty accurate, and I'd rather rely on this, than expect my users to go back to their mail, search for the mail, and then click verification links. This works pretty well for me on usability fronts.

Ok it works for well known mail hosts. But if someone is using a company e-mail (I mean, a local company) then, it doesn't recognize the website host name.
Also, the page is freezing for long seconds before telling you if the e-mail is valid or not.
Making new user going back to their mail page is safer for me.
