I have been trying to use the module but I have a problem with the large number of CCK fields I have in one node type. There are over 200 fields. The system seems to only be able to handle a certain number of items. If I setup one user role I can set all of the fields but if I try more than one user role it only processes a number of them and then stops. This can be half way through a field.

Thanks for your report. Can you tell me if the Drupal log or web server log reports any errors (e.g., memory exhausted)? If so, please attach it here.

Unfortunatly there is nothing reported in the logs at all. (neither Drupal or Apache)

There are 256 custom fields in the node type and if I try to set 3 roles for both view and edit they stop on the 163rd field with one permission missing. It seems to have done 977 updates. This is also repeatable, everytime I try the same result.

If I understand you correctly, you encounter this on the state editing page, when you try to save your settings. If that isn't correct, please explain the scenario in detail and attach a screenshot highlighting the error.

Sorry for the delay in replying.

When you edit a state page everything is OK. When you save there are no messages but when you look at the node or review the state page it does not have all of the options set. I think it tops out just under 300 items.
