I have created several groups for people and have successfully subscribed them to the group. I now want to make them the group manager and I want to unsubscribe myself. How do I do this? I've looked on the site and tried to find where it might be in the administration, but I can't find it.
Thanks,
Laura

Promoting to Group Admin
While in the group, click the link in the Group menu that says "x Subscribers" from there you can click "admin:create" next to the user you want to be the group admin.
I do NOT know if that will then let you unsubscribe. I kind of doubt it, though.

Goto to the group and edit
You can edit the group like any other content. To change the manager expand the 'Authoring information' section toward the bottom of the form and set 'Authored by' to a valid user name.
Deceptively easy
lol, didn't even think of that.

thanks so much, have been searching this for the past week on how to change the group manager.
some things should be made easily visible like changing the group manager and not hidden somewhere deep....
Perfect!
I thought I'd have to find a module or something like that. This works very well. Thanks!!
