Add more detail to layer and preset listings [#809840]

We should add more detail to layer and preset listings so that they're easier to scan. Currently just the layer name + description are kind of light on data. I think that it's reasonable to include the layer type in the layer listing and a list of activated layers in the preset listing.

All right, this is basically all I think is reasonable at this point - more detail in other ways might come up, but I don't want to push too many changes in this area at once.
