Hi,
Looks like Version 2 is going to rock. At present though I have got 1 issue with it. It may be a bug, or just me. Like V1, I install it, add a homebox, add blocks, etc. I can see this no problem. Anonymous users get access denied.
Okay, as readme says, goto the permission page (as you do in v.1), but this time the only entry for homebox is "administer homebox." There is no setting for the homebox I have just created.
Can you confirm this is a bug or tell me what I have done wrong?
Regards,
Nick

mstef CreditAttribution: mstef commentedThanks - It's going to rock (if it doesn't already)..
Sorry but pretty much all of the documentation is out of date. It's still marked as -dev so code comes first, then when we're done, we'll work on the doc and everything else...
When creating a Home Box, you're presented with which roles can view it. By default, they are all unchecked. If you want anonymous access, simply check 'Anonymous User'.
That should do it. If so, please close this ticket.

nickbits CreditAttribution: nickbits commentedHi,
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it is a dev release and documentation is not finished. However I get nothing to do with permissions at all, event after:
I would have thought that there would be someway of changing permissions after creating a homebox, but I find nothing in the permissions page, settings, or elsewhere. I did start with a fresh install of Drupal and a copy of homebox 2 from the CVS. Will clear everything and try again in a bit and double check I haven't corrupted the downloads or my sandbox (probably the case).

nickbits CreditAttribution: nickbits commentedHi,
Have re-synched my CVS copy. Not sure if it was corrupt but it now works. One small point, if no options are selected for access permissions, shouldn't it default to all are given access?
Cheers,
Nick

mstef CreditAttribution: mstef commentedI was thinking that, but what if you want a page that only admins can access? I thinking checking a role or two wont annoy anyone.
