I spent some time trying to figure out this “patching” thing, and I pretty much figured it out. But I have a question for those of you who understand those too often ridiculous and nebulous development terms.
My first attempts at patching returned the following:
Hunk #1 FAILED at 10.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file module.inc.rej
After hours of trial and error, I made some progress, and the module.inc appears to now be patched. But why the fuzz:
patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line
Hunk #1 succeeded at 10 with fuzz 2.
Is this an acceptable result? Can someone please tell me if fuzzy Hunks are truly successful, or does my patch still requiring “shaving”?

Possibly one of the funniest
Possibly one of the funniest things I've read in a while :)
Funny as in...
... "comical and causing amusement" or as in "strange and warranting suspicion" :)
Seriously people, could someone please explain this insanity.
