calandar block will not change date focus

I have the calendar block setup and being displayed properly in my region. The dates will not change on the block though. I have it setup with weeks as the primary type so it is showing

When you click on the arrows to change the dates I get no change of date, just the same calendar week.

%2F is the conversion for a '/'

Any ideas whats going on here?

I would like to have this setup as the block view on a day by day display and my page view as a weekly view. In that respect I would want the daily view to page day to day with ajax but I cant seem to get that to work either.
