Newbie Question here....

Is their a node type that allows for the creation of a totally blank
page?

In other words I dont want the normal (title, posted by, date) to appear.
I just want a blank slate.

Is that possible? A module?

Thanks,
Travis U.

Not currently available. You'll have to modify the theme for that. It is frequently requested feature so hopefully we'll have better support for it sooner or later

What I should have said actually now that I think about it is
if their is a way to create a blank page that while displaying
the selected boxes and headers and such is otherwise blank.

Specifically no title, submitted by, or date info.

I picked up a module a user had written called mission.module
that makes the mission the full front page, but it doesnt work
for other pages beyond that.

A fully blank page sans boxes ect. and the blank main area as
described above would add much flexiblity in design.

While ive only been playing with drupal a little while I find that
I tend to feel boxed into a certain style - rolling posts,
identical boxes on each page, a kind of set structure that most
drupal sites end up taking due to the very nature of the system.
In a design sense anyway.

I could be totally wrong though and just not seeing the flexibility
thats there. It would be really nice if someone could post some
drupal sites that really break the mold from a design perspective
and maybe give some idea of how they are doing it so I dont
get "trapped" in boxes and rolling posts mentality.

Heres to unboxing cms's worldwide. :)

Sincerely,
Travis U.
