it would be great to provide a UI for uploading and removing banner images. are there plans for this or patches available from the community?
i'm thinking similar to this marinelli theme patch ..

What's the reason you don't want to fix it?
It would be nice if the GUI could show all active images and their order and that we can change that.
I mean, as a sys admin I can edit files of course, but with a GUI our secretary with limited permissions could upload pics to the site whenever she wants without breaking the system.
Just wanted to know your thoughts.

You can go to theme settings and add picture for the slideshow.
