The new dashboard is nice, but for a D6 user, I can't find stuff easily. Eventually, I found the Dashboard "By Module" tab at (#overlay=admin/by-module), but it seems to be several clicks away.

I could add this page as a shortcut, but much better than it is a dashboard shortcut by default (eg "Admin" or "All"). The D6 Navigation menu Admin link showed ALL admin options (just one click away!)

D7 should not make me learn where everything is. It should be intuitive, and no more than a click away!

I think this might be a duplicate of #699848: admin/by-task is confusing since it lacks links to config pages and looks similar to admin/config and friends? - or at the very least, see that issue for a lot of relevant discussion. Also, I'm not sure you're talking about the dashboard here, rather about the new information architecture (i.e., the arrangement of menu links).
