Hi,
I created the .PO files for an Indian language and was up and running with my site. A day later, all the articles turned into glibrish and I'm not able to see the original language. Interestingly I can see the proper characters when I type and preview them (in the forum module). But when they show up in a block or when I try to read them, they turn into glibrish.
If anyone has any idea whats going on and how to solve it, I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks,
Anupam.
PS. The site is http://www.aryasamaj.org/newsite (note that the translation seems to be OK but the articles are not)

Log message when I add a Indian Language comment
This is what I found in the log file, if anyone can give me a pointer about what this means, that would be great. Thanks.

Fixed the error ...
I fixed the error by changing the locale in the tables from latin1_...._ci to utf8_general_ci.
I have no clue why this was working the first day or what modified the DB to make it not work.
