Galeries now export some attributes to views, enabling filtering on gallery type, style and slideshow enabled or not.
Filenames are not lost anymore when uploading (or downloading from internet) multiple images at once - their filename or URL will be lightly sanitized and used as title.
An undefined variable notice (which did not cause malfunction) was fixed.
This release fixes a bug which prevented EXIF data from being correctly read in some cases while outputting lots of errors, and adds a class to all thumbnails and images that have EXIF data with information on their orientation. This allows rotating them in CSS (although that's a bit risky) or through Javascript.
This release fixes a bug which made galleries next to useless with themes that modify HTML markup. The Galerie module now does not depend anymore on particular markup, this might fix a lot of cases where the module gave javascript errors.
This new release enables displaying geolocated images, as well as placing non-geolocated images on a map.
Sources for geolocation are EXIF tags for local files and existing geolocation information for Flickr images. The geolocation interface might be a bit rough for now, I need feedback to improve it as UIs are really not my strength.
Galleries are a list of images, and can be based on the contents of a directory, flickr tags/users or tumblr logs.
The module tries to make creating galleries fast and easy, and user experience more seamless using AJAX for displaying images, but is fully usable without javascript and/or without CSS. A basic example website with Drupal's default settings and a few galleries can be visited here: http://rivag.es - keep in mind that it could look much better with a better adapted theme.
