I'm trying to style the H2 header areas different than each other (see attached), but the DIV classes outputted by panels only differentiates between columns, not by items in the columns.

The content container of the blocks have unique values to style against, but the H2's are outside of that container.

Is there anyway to append a value to the "panel-pane" class?

If you enter a class in the UI with the 'css class' option on a pane, that will do exactly what you want.

This doesn't quite cover all of it.

The OP asks for a delta-based class on panel items, which would be very useful, and isn't currently possible.
