I could not see any other issues requesting this, I would like to be able to apply this style to selected blocks, or set as default for some of my blocks to be open to start with, or remain open.

perhaps a UI module for this module, with admin options to one-click edit blocks... that would be really sweet!

i would hook into block config and do it per block. add two checkbox options to each block for: enable accordion and initially collapsed.

perhaps in addition to a global settings to set accordion defaults.

+1 for this. I need to exclude certain blocks (eg the top or bottom block in a region) from the accordion but I can't work out how to hook into this. Any ideas?
