Slide to Work on Front Page region other than the main content region ?

Excellent module. I do have a similar issue that has has come up a bit with adding the contents of the node to the front page. I was able to get the slide to work fine on it's own node page. Im using a custom zen theme, and I want the node to work in a region other than the main content region. Id like it to work in the content_top region. I ofcourse can modify the css code so that it fits in the that region. Is there a way to do that?

So, last question...... Is there a way in general to assign a node to a different region without using Views module, or does it always get feed into the main content region?
