When I upload image, I got this in place of where the image should be:

This affects the Google Chrome browser but does not affect Firefox.

This bug also affects Opera which throws a JavaScript error and then redirects to the page filefield/ahah/project/field_images/0

I cannot reproduce this problem. Please provides steps to reproduce from a fresh Drupal install if possible. My guess is either server configuration or the JavaScript conflicting with another module.

I think this is a WebKit issue. I can reproduce in Google Chrome (Mac OS and Linux) and Safari (Mac OS).

UPDATE: works fine on a fresh plain install.

Hi,
Can anyone please help.I have tried all the things discussed in various other posts too but nothing seems to be working for me.It is working fine on mozilla and internet explorer but causing problem on chrome when upload button is clicked.Otherwise if submit button is clicked it is working fine.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I think it's more related to the theme you are using than to the FileField. Please validate your site with http://validator.w3.org/check (for example) and try to get rid of all errors. It helped in our case.

Edit: Hmmm... I was wrong. Actually it didn't help at all:-) But we're still fighting. I'll let you know, if we find something.

Having the same issue on our site. :-(
Has there been any change/progress since september?

We are using the file field, image field and Epsacrop (can't figure out what is breaking) to get this bizzare error:

As with the @vatsal the "submit" button works but not "upload".
If anyone found a fix for this I would be most grateful for some insight.
