Reorder the create content page?

I'm working in an admin area of my web site. On this page of my web site: http://www.example.com/?q=node/add I see my menu items to create content on the left. Then in the body of the page I have

create content
Choose the appropriate item from the list:

followed by all of the different options for adding flexinode content to the site. Is there a way to set the order for the links in the body of the page? I want to group/order them logically, but right now they appear to be in order of the flexinode id which is not logical.

I was able to set the weights/order for the menu items, but now I need to do the same for the links in the body of the page.
