jhodgdonThe CCK -> Fields upgrade guide was tracked on this issue, which is now marked fixed:

And the guide itself is at

as noted above, which is a child page of the 6/7 module update page:
http://drupal.org/update/modules/6/7
meaning that there is a link at the bottom of the update page that takes you to the CCK update page.
However, I thought it could use a link near the top, so I added one. This issue is hereby fixed.

jhodgdonUh oh. Actually that issue was about a guide for the site builder on how to upgrade their CCK-based site to field-based site.
And the Updating CCK field modules page is marked "incomplete". So I guess until that page is fixed, we can't really mark this issue as fixed.
