Haven't met any SA drupaller yet. But you should network in groups.drupal.org just to be sure.

I'm in Melbourne but coincidently will be in Adelaide for a few days early next month.

If you don't find anybody more local; perhaps we can have a chat. I'd certainly be cautious giving you a quote for converting PHP-Nuke to Drupal - I've never done that. But certainly we could talk about it.
