I have created a view to display the 3 top rated content of a specific content type on our site. I set items to display in the view to 3 but after I added more than 3 of the specific content type's content it displays all of them in the views slideshow. In the view preview it shows the correct number of items but as soon as you view the slideshow it shows all of them, currently 6 of them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for an awesome module!!

This works well normally so it is most likely some mistake on your side. Just to make sure: Have you checked that you changed the limits for the specific display you are using? It happens quite often that user change the wrong display. Also make sure you actually save changed settings.
Are you displaying the view in a panel? If so check the pane settings. Per default panels overrides your settings and you have to change them manually (or use the "content pane" display).

Yip, that fixed my problem. I was displaying my view in a panel and changing the settings in the panel fixed my problem.
