History can be viewed using CVS history. These files look like they don't get updated enough, I have had the same issue with my modules. People just forget to update them so their value diminishes.

I'm proposing we remove them. What do you think?

I know that Aaron liked having them. I know it's a pain to keep up to date. I'm ok with removing them.
