When posting text with an mt_more_text field through the metaWeblog API, the post's extended text is not hidden, and instead appears below the

separator. The separator comment is escaped and appears in the post body.

This project is the 7.x branch of Blog API only. Seeing as Blog API for Drupal 7 is currently non-functional, I think you are talking about Drupal 6. Moving issue accordingly...
