Hello all - I'm new to the forums and to Drupal in general. At this point, I've merely been reading about Drupal on this site and on the CMS Matrix web site and I'm trying to determine if it can do some of the things I'd like with a new web site project.

What I'd like to include on the site are the following:

Regular articles from multiple authors
Blog
Forums
Fee-based Web Site Directory, with searchability (where users can submit their topic-specific web site for review/acceptance)
Fee-based Classified Ads section

The whole site will be "vertical", about one main topic only, and I'm already familiar with the fact that Drupal can handle the articles (with nice WYSIWYG editor for those who are not technically inclined), blog and forums.

The question really revolves around the web site directory and classified ads, which are to be fee-based and thus the aspect of the site the generates revenue.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Drupal on this front and has used it for a fee-based web site directory and/or fee-based classified ads.

If not in the base Drupal package and 3rd-party modules, perhaps you've had someone develop this?
