Job opening: PHP / Drupal web developer

Our need: pingVision has immediate openings for Drupal web developers with strong PHP programming skills and thorough Drupal knowledge and experience.

Our expertise: pingVision focuses on interactive media production and design, with an emphasis on web design and development and video postproduction, including DVD authoring. Your job responsibilities:

• Web development using Drupal and CivicSpace.
• Custom coding for specific project needs.
• Client contact on site development and technical support.
• Work closely with designers and sysadmin.
• Website configuration and administration.
• Website integration with other media (DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray...)
• Custom module development (for client projects and Drupal community development efforts).

Your skills and expertise:

• Programmer familiar with Drupal API, who's been working with Drupal and/or CivicSpace for a while.
• Additional expertise in MySQL, *nix, Apache, xml, (x)html, Javascript and AJAX.
• Helpful, but not required, to know other web platforms, including Wordpress, Moveable Type, phpBB2 and Cold Fusion.
• Client relations skills for contact by phone, email and IM.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficency in the English language. (Multilingual is a plus!)
