EDITED (apparently *all* variables need documenting): chx brought up that the D7 variables will need documentation - I wanted to start a meta issue for this (like we did for the d7help work) and chx is going to post a script to get a list of the variables, which will then be posted on this thread. Then, as people adopt variables to work on, we'll check them off the list.

When you adopt a variable to work on, please create a new issue, and post here (with the link to the new issue) to let everyone know you're working on it.

Please tag all of the new variables issues with "d7variables", thx!
