margins and border collapse in Firefox when using Persian text in pager

Has anyone else run into something like this? When I use the pager with Persian text in the "first" "last" etc fields, the padding and margins around all the text in the pager (including the numbers) collapses horizontally, so everything is right up next to each other. Any ideas about why this might happen?
