I am receiving the above error message on my install to a localhost. The error message occurs upon submissions of the Tattler API Configuration page (the keys). I have keys for all but Technorati. As a shot in the dark I tried putting a text string in the Technorati API field as a placeholder in case the blank field was the issue (it wasn't).
Pretty standard setup with Ubuntu 9.04, Apache 2.2.12, PHP5 and mysql 5.1.37. Not sure what other info I can provide other than the install was going along fine up until this point.
Thanks!

dougo99 CreditAttribution: dougo99 commentedI did a clean re-install and came up against the same error. So...
I went with the work-around described at: http://blog.tech4him.com/2009/10/tattler-1-0-rc-1-155-installation-probl... which unfortunately is a step back in releases but actually installed fine and works using the outlined procedure. So I guess I can assume my local setup is fine. Let me know if there is any other info I can provide to help uncover the bug in RC156. Tattler looks quite good now that I have it actually working!
