Hello there

I want to be able to send a message to all my members every few months (and preferably give them the option to desubscribe from this e-mail list.

What would be the best way of doing this? I've looked at the list of modules, but am a bit confused...

You could use SimpleNews module, which is the one used by Drupal.org to send their newsletters...
Or maybe try a third party softwar, ie. DadaMail. I´ve sended several newsletters with that one, and it´s easy and pretty reliable.

Hope someone else will tell more alternatives...

Thanks for that -- looks great.

Only one problem with that is that users can't sign up for the newsletter when they register. I know that's been an issue with that module, but it would be nice to integrate it into the registration form.
