User is not logged in when both "Enable anonymous checkout" and "Login users when new customer accounts are created" are enabled

Hello,

If I have "Enable anonymous checkout" enabled, as well as "Login users when new customer accounts are created" , a user optionally can create an account on the checkout page by specifying username and password.

However, on the order completion page, the user is not logged in.

Any ideas? This seems to me a bug :)
