Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The current order of fields on the update status module config page (admin/reports/updates/settings) doesn't make sense. It is:
email addresses to notify
how often to check for updates
what to email
check disabled modules/themes
Here's a patch to make the order more sensible:
how often to check
check disabled modules/themes
email to notify
what to email
Actually I'll add it in a separate comment.

dwwLooks reasonable. However, if you're moving the setting, the $notify_emails variable should move with it.
