Event continues to frustrate.

After fixing the timezone offset problem and the countdown errors, I am stuck on 12-24 hour format. Although I set the hour format to 12 hour and the calendar views and the event creation all display 12 hour format, the event view itself (which appears in the central part of the screen) still shows the date in 24 hour format. My client is not happy.

If anyone could help or suggest a patch I would be forever grateful.

The Event module is in serious need of an overhaul. This is such a crucial module for any community site, it really requires some expert attention.
