Ok guys, Im a college student and I had my last exam on friday. I have been using Drupal for almost a year now and I swore I would spend this summer to become a Drupal demi-god. I wont be applying for summer of code because I will be doing other things this summer and I hear u shouldnt.
But my real reason for this post is that I want to KNOW!! drupal, more precisely version 4.7. However I see the API for 4.6 and another called HEAD (is that 4.7?). I assume thats the best place to start. If not I would like to hear what are your suggestions. My AIM is that at the end of the summer I would have added something to the DRUPAL code.

Look at the module developer guide. You could also try to squash bugs, come up with patches, or other things as well. You might even come up with a module that would be useful, without overlapping other modules.
