I installed Drupal and I'm very happy about it works.
I logged in as admin and added some content, story, blog, forum topics...
I also set blocks to appear some in left side and some in right side...I so little adjusted layout.
The strange thing is that when I try to browse Home page as an anonymous user I see the initial message:
"Welcome in your new site etc...". I can't see any of forum message in rigth side...no calendar for archives...
How can I set drupal to be a site to READ for every anonymous ?
Any help appreciated.
Regards.
Fabrizio

Perhaps obvious but...
Perhaps this is too obvious but, did you go to the q=admin/access (administer, access control) page and give anonymous users the ability to see those things? You probably want to enable 'access content' in the node module and perhaps (I do) 'search content' in the search module.
Hi Steve, yes I already
Hi Steve,
yes I already allowed "access content" in node module and added in "search content" now...but nothing change...
It is really strange uh?
evaulation?
have you evaulation module installed? it's mysql file removes the anonymous' 'view' privilege from node_acces table.
bandika, I can't see in
bandika,
I can't see in module list a "evaluation" named one.
Where can I search for it?

node_access
and what's about node_access table? you have to have view=1 for anonymous group (where gid=0 (as I know) and usually this is the first line in the table). Have you installed taxonomy_acces? It removes this line from the table and you need to set the permission for every groups in the taxonomy_Access admin page.
This is node_access table
This is node_access table first (and only) line:
I have taxonomy mod installed but I can't find "taxonomy_acces".

I'm getting not to understand where the problem is. :(

same problem
i have the same problem (drupal 4.7)
this is my node access table. i installed organic groups once and then disinstalled, maybe the problem is somewhere there (sorry for bad formatting):
I have same problem with 4.7
I had the same problem, and then went and re-enabled the Organic Groups and it went away. Strange, huh?
same problem
I have been encountering the same problem. Switching off and back on OG did not help. I even deleted permission table in MySQL and tried to give permissions from anew. My anonimous users have access to node module enabled, nevertheless the system offers them to login. I have tried to switch off and on many modules that could somehow effect this strange behaivour, but unformatunately I could'nt figure out what was the problem. I hope this problem will be solved soon.
It seems to be broke
I found that you need to go to settings/og and click disable. Then go uncheck the og modules. Your site should be back to normal.

problem is in MySQL table
I have solved this problem by adding user with ID 0 in users table. Somehow it disappeared.
I did the same thing. I took
I did the same thing. I took one user and make him to anonymous with UID 0, and now it seems to work out.
