is there a way i can change drupal dyrectory to a new one.

i have it installed in www.xxxxx.com/drupal, how can i change it to a subdomain like drupal.xxxxx.com, or do i have to install it all over again?

Just modify the settings file with the new url and move the entire site into the new directory.

I almost forgot, BACK UP EVERYTHING! This includes the database as well as the drupal directory.
